Using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) as our guides, our programs aim to have a child centred curriculum where children, educators and families are co-creators of the program, incorporating wonder, excitement and interests to support the development of the whole child.
The educators at Albert Waterways observe and listen to the children, document not only their play but their conversations, interests, interactions and experiences, they take photographs, notes and offer support and extensions to their play. This is the foundation for our curriculum planning.
