Our Reconciliation Commitment
At Albert Waterways Children’s Centre, we embrace the rich heritage of the Kombumerri people, acknowledging their elders past and present, and the wisdom of the lands we operate on.
Through our dynamic Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we’re committed to fostering respect, inclusivity, and understanding. We recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as Australia’s First Peoples and strive to create an inspiring and inclusive educational environment for all families.
Our educators actively incorporate diverse perspectives to create a culturally safe space where every child and family feels a sense of belonging. We’re dedicated to embedding Indigenous perspectives into our daily practices, fostering strong relationships within our local Indigenous community.
Join us in celebrating diversity and working towards a brighter, more reconciled future at Albert Waterways Children’s Centre.
