If your child is unable to attend due to illness we request parents call the centre on 07 5572 7333 and confirm the absence and reason to staff. It is important for the health and welfare of all the staff and children at Albert Waterways that illnesses that occur are treated in the correct way with the correct exclusion periods. A table is included in our Parent Handbook as a guideline for exclusion periods for common childhood illness. Where possible we can schedule a ‘make up’ day within the week of absence, the restrictions will be spaces available within the room.
